– The International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) and the United States Maritime Alliance (USMX) have tentatively agreed on a 6-year master contract. An agreement was reached prior to the contract’s February 6

expiration date; therefore, the threatened strike has been averted. Talks will now focus on local agreements.
