Stanford solar car team at the finish line with Luminos
This past week Stanford University spent five days racing their solar car, Luminos, 3,000 kilometers across the Australian Outback in the 2013 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. Luminos completed the race in 39 hrs and 31 mins traveling at 75.86 km/hr (41 mph). Although there were 23 participating teams in the Challenger Class, only 10 teams made it to the finish and Stanford came in 4 th place – way to go Stanford! Dedola is proud to have been involved and we look forward to Stanford’s next race!
