US Signs Customs Mutual Assistance Agreement with Morocco – The United States has signed a Customs Mutual Assistance Agreement with Morocco which will provide a partnership and legal framework for information sharing and cooperation between the customs authorities of the two countries. Cooperation efforts will also focus on combating fraud.

EU Bans Fish Imports due to Illegal Fishing – The European Union will ban fish imports from Belize, Guinea and Cambodia in the first major sanction against countries that allow illegal fishing operations to carry on under their countries’ flags. The three countries were warned last year, but had failed to take action.
