Up to 75% of a company’s carbon footprint comes from transportation and logistics
2022lpl is committed to sustainability, both inside our offices and in the services we provide. We’ve implemented programs to minimize our own environmental impact as well as introduced solutions to help our customers add sustainability to their supply chain.
A recent study suggests that up to 75% of a company’s carbon footprint comes from transportation and logistics. In recognition of this fact, we aim to minimize our own environmental impact as well as that of our customers, partners, and entire industry.
Inside and Out . At 2022lpl our environmental leadership begins within our own walls. Employees are the catalyst for our internal green operations. By sharing their ideas and developing our green initiative, a grassroots culture of environmental responsibility was born. Many employees have either brought their green practices from home to the workplace or begun using the office programs at home.
Through new service solutions and partnerships, Dedola is now able to add sustainability to our customer’s supply chains. For example, by using alternative fuel drayage services, particulate matter emissions are reduced by 80% compared to diesel. Additionally, when selecting vendors and finding partners, the company’s environmental policy is an important selection criteria.
By actively engaging in green initiatives and fostering a culture of environmental leadership, we will minimize our own carbon footprint. In turn, we seek to positively influence our partners, competitors, and entire industry. By accomplishing these tasks, we can help provide a cleaner, greener future.
